mangodart Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Hi guys, back on the forum with a new built, it's a 71 Demon GSS, started with a MPC model kit, which I was lucky to find here in France but it was heavily painted and some parts missing. Anyway I decide to restore it by kitbashing an AMT Duster. Lots of work for doing everything fit, I might do another way now, especially with the firewall which would need to be moved a few millimeters. I've add a vinyl top, hood scoop are from the Duster, color is the closest I could find from the Butterscotch yellow. Decals are from Fred Cady. I detailed the grill the best that I can but to me, MPC didn't capture the look of the 1/1, it quite heavy for me. To reproduce the GSS model, I use the 6 pack on the 340... Hope you'll enjoy it SOme more pics to come
mangodart Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Hope you'll like it, I'm glad to have it on my collection and to have finished it...
