Mark B Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) I started this project several years ago but have recently been spending more time on it. It started as an idea to give a home to my 1/25 Dukes of Hazzard kits (which are still in the box at this point!). I've researched all 7 seasons of the show to get as many details as possible; it will have a full interior matching what was seen on the show. The primary material is Sintra expanded PVC sheet plastic, with some styrene and wood details here and there. My biggest problem is going to be finding a place for this thing when its done. ShredHippie Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Very cool!!! Now how about the store Daisy bought her shorts...
Mark B Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 Funny you should say that- next door to Cooter's is a general store that I'm considering adding to the diorama eventually. It was never said where Daisy bought those shorts, but it would make sense!

Danno Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Daisy needs to get out more, she looks pretty pale.
Mark B Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Yes its big enough that I'm going to have a hard time finding a permanent home for it when I'm done. But I really like doing this kind of stuff in 1/25; It's big enough that is feels more 'real' than small models. I've always worked in smaller scales. My last large model project was around 1/144; I had to break out the reading glasses for that one! Mark
bobthehobbyguy Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Very nice work. Looking forward to seeing more.
