ratdoggy Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 How do you get the "depth" in the creases and frown lines?

Brudda Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Beautiful Job on the Rat Fink figure. Excellent air brush skills.
gordon Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 Thank you all for kind comments. RATDOGGY asked about the shading in the creases. I air-brushed Createx fluorescent green overall, then Testors dullcoat (rattlecan) for a matte surface. Black chalk or pigments applied with an old paintbrush works the powder into the creases and low areas. Any mistakes can be removed with a damp Q-tip. Seal again with dullcoat. Very deep creases were emphasized with sepia oil paint. Cheers On 10/23/2014 at 6:12 PM, ratdoggy said: How do you get the "depth" in the creases and frown lines?
geetee66 Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Love it! Thanks for showing us and letting us in on your tricks for shading.
