3gear Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Well, I have not touched a kit almost 10 years.... Here is my stuff, hope you like.
10thumbs Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Hi 3 Gear, what's your name? I think the model looks good. The paint looks smooth and fine, nice work! The motor has probably been modded, which kit is it? Tires/wheels from another kit? Can you give more insight, we like details too. The 2nd pic shows a black-washed grill, I like! Is the underground a bit uneven? Very nice entry. Welcome and thanks for showing. Michael
3gear Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Thanks!!! I'm Marc, THe paint was a flat indigo blue with clear over it. Do not recall the brands, it wa 10 years ago LOL. THe kit was the Revell you could build with or without the fenders. The highrise and carbs were from the spare parts bin, the plug wires are motor winding from radio shack and holes with a pin vice. Wheels and tires are store bought from AAA hobbies in NJ. Thanks, the blackwash makes a huge difference IMHO with too bright chrome :-) Thanks again, Marc
johnbuzzed Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Not a normal/expected color (to me, anyway) for a Deuce- cool. Looks pretty good.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Welcome to the world-famous MCM forum. Love the color, your paint work looks great, assembly is clean. Very nice. Pretty sure the wheels / tires are Pegasus Chrome T's big-n-little set. The T's are available as 18" or 23" wheels, and there used to be a set with 2 of each (maybe still available?).
slusher Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Sharp model. Color is different but very cool..
nico Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I like this 32, very good look! normaly I prefer the vintages wheels on 32 ford , but here, the recents wheels are good for his style
zenrat Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I don't like the wheels on it but you've done a good job considering you had a 10 year rest. Keep it up.
Maxicoop Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 that is a great lookin' 32 ...... hope to see more from you !!!!
RAMBENNA Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 WELL don't wait ten years to do another, this is awesome. Great build
Art Laski Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Welcome back to the hobby, Marc. You came back strong! Nice job on that one. -Art
