Two shots from a pretty nurse, makes it hurt much less....

It does help. When i had surgery a few years ago, when i was getting admitted i had a HOT nurse. I was doped up with meds necause it was emergency surgery. My wife told me i was flirting with the nurse right in front of her. I dont remember talkin to the nurse or my wife sitting there. I do remember what happened till the meds kicked in, unbearable pain and the pretty nurse. Thats what i remeber till i woke up after the surgery. But yes pretty nurses help.

My second Trumpeter 1/16 King Tiger with full interior:

Actually, ordered it yesterday and it should be in by next week. It's a great kit; although, it needs a lot of scratchbuilding to accurately replicate the interior.

Scored these guys on ebay a few weeks back - both still sealed in boxes, and less than $100 for the two:

I also picked this one up around the same time - I'm a nut for TV cars:

Here's a picture of that GN FA.

Pretty cherry for $25+s&h!

Love the look of the Alco in GN colors. I have basically the same engine in N scale.

We found out why it was so cheap.

It had a bad connection and and some dirt inside. Simple fixes all around, including the rear truck being too high. At least it pulls a good consist of cars, and that's all I can ask for.

You spend that kind of money, it is supposed to have a full interior and you STILL have to scratchbuild? And members here complaine about a couple of small defects in a Camaro kit........

Got both of these off of Ebay over the last week or so. Both were reasonable in price since most aircraft like these are quite pricey most of the time. The 727 got here first late last week, but the L1011 came today and took a bit to get here. That bird did not fly. Was in the back of a truck for about a week. I'm trying to put a collection of aircraft I've flown on over the years all in the same scale....1/144th scale. So, two more checked off the list.

Kevin when you get to building that Corsair keep us posted. I want to build that one myself.

I will, but it may be quite a while before I get to it.

I didn't know exactly where to put this, but anyway, last week I bought the Vaterra Chevy K-5 Blazer Ascender R/C kit. I've already built it up to a rolling chassis. Yesterday, I bought the steering servo(waterproof) and a bottle of tire glue. For now, I may stop and disassemble a few things and get the upgrade parts. Like the front knuckles as well as the front and rear carriers. Part of the reason I chose the kit version over the ready to run is I now know how this thing goes together.

I got the Cessna 172 Float plane kit by MiniCraft that I've been eyein' for awhile. Wish that I would have taken a ride on a floatplane last summer when I was in Alaska.
