bluemoose Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Hi, apparently someone screwed up and added me to your list of new members, without so much as an interview or a background check. But now that I've slipped through the front door, I can tell you all about myself. I've been building model cars off and on since the mid 1950's. I especially like American cars from the thirties through the sixties. Almost all my builds are box stock or very mild customs. Here's the new Model King Belvedere reissue that I just finished. It's painted with legend lime from the Colorful New Member. I loved the look of Bill Coulter's turquoise '64 Fury, so I tried to copy his model by using the wheels from Revell's '69 Charger, and giving it a moderate rake. The red one I built a few months ago, and it's Tamiya clear red over silver leaf.

Zoom Zoom Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Beautiful as always; the subtle rake, wheel choice and color really give it character.
