Beeg Juanito Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 This a model of my 1:1 Starliner that I named Hellenor. The color of the real car is Mercedes Signal red. The engine was a 390 punched to a 406 with 6-V induction. (Fords description of Tri Power) It also had the factory Hi performance cast "Shorty" Headers and a C-6 trans. Even has the same wheels. I cut the side panels of the interior off so I could detail and paint the door panels properly and it turned out beautiful. I named her HELLenor because of all the hell she put me thru! I sold her about three years ago to a young man from Hibbing Minnesota. He has since put in a 428 in her.
DeeCee Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 OOOOOOOH , VERY NICE, the starliner has some sweet lines, and this one looks great mate.

donb Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Great looking car! Oh and the 1:1 is not bad either.
geetee66 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I bet you're gutted to have sold the 1:1 I've just built a '60. I like the tailights of the 61, but I prefer the flat fins of the '60 Nice build and an amazing way to hold on to your memories!
unclescott58 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) '61 Starliner! Very cool. Oh, and nice job on the model too. Scott Edited December 13, 2014 by unclescott58

Yeah, it broke my heart to sell it but I still have my Hot Rod Ford pickup and every time I look at it, I smile and that eases my pain. I named this one "Lil Henry"!
espo Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 The model looks out standing. It would be very hard to give up that nice of a Starliner. Really like the truck and your Garage Mahaul.
rmvw guy Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I like the model and the 1:1 but, I love the pickup! Now you need a scale version of it. Nice work!
