Haven't done much to my 76 Caprice other than collect some various pieces for it and brainstorming on color schemes. I've Been involved in another build which i'll be finishing up soon. So I can get to working on this one. I also just obtained a nice partial prebuilt Dodge A100 truck body that I'm considering rebuilding for this thread as well.

Just reporting in for May. I haven't done any work on the Skyline because I'm working on another build for sanity's sake.

Work is at a halt on the Hemi Dart while I struggle with getting the rust damage effects I want on the practice bodies.

Working on other things at same time to offset the frustration.

Zenrat the 1980 citation was my first car!

Well after moving twice in 10 months and having to pack my entire modeling world into cardboard this may be just what I need.

I guess that the mechanically impossible is a relative term. Look at some of the wild stuff that is out there. Some 60 show cars, the Zingers, some of Jay Lenno's cars. let's face it building a Hotrod around a WWII tank engine can be looked as mechanically impossible. AS long as it is inline with the theme. But like Rob said, the final votes may not be too favorable, thou.

Still here, done nothing.

Dave, what colour was your Citation? Got any pics?

Jantrix thanks for the warm welcome. Two moves in 10 months required packing everything and left me with no build space for 9 months. Just started unpacking everything last week.

Zenrat. I had an 80 silver over black two tone. I could dig out some factory pictures but sadly mine met nirvana long before I got good pictures of it. My brother had a black 81 with the H/O V6. Just like the Revell kit but hatchback instead of notch back. I've been working on converting the kit to hatch back for a while... just never got it finished.

X2... I have been stockpiling parts for the accord wagon tho...

X3 I haven't receive my parts, and seem what most builders are making, I think in a change of project...to much Corvette based "mechanicals" :)

I'm working on another build for a while. I'm still :huh::blink: about the color of the Pacer. I jump back and forth on saphire blue and rootbeer brown which of course delays any kind of paint work in the interior. More soon.

Thanks Dave. I might use that scheme.

I've actually been doing some work on the Citation.

I've been adding more plastic to fill in where i've extended the body and i've pulled apart the chassis I fixed together with white glue (to get the wheelbase correct) so I can use real glue and paint it.

It seems that the driver and navigator may be sitting in the back.

I havent touched my cars... yet again. I seem to have a hard time committing myself to a build that I committed myself to. If that makes sense.

unfortunately I am pulling out the 720 I greatly doubt I will be able to finish it in time if things change I will re enter it but right now it just isn't possible

Always one to buck a trend i've actually got something done. Maybe because the weather has got cold and dank here as winter starts making it prime scratchbuilding season.

Here's the stretched body alongside the Prowler chassis with a 440 Magnum donk shoehorned in. The V8 wouldn't fit with the Prowler body because the radiator sits between the engine and the front suspension. However you can see I have a lot of extra space in front of the front wheels so I can put all the cooling gubbins there.

Also not that if I don't move the seating position forward a touch the driver is gong to be looking out of the rear side windows and is going to have fun getting in and out.
