Most of my cache of models is in the basement boiler room. The kids call it the vault. They've also spilled over into the finished side of the basement where I do my building. I have a few rare ones up in my bedroom closet.

Well...some are in my garage, some are in my model room, some are still at the hobby shop, some have been given to friends to finish and some I just can't remember where they got off to...:lol::lol:

It really sucks getting old and suffering from advanced stages of CRS (Can't Remember "Stuff")!:lol:

HMMMMM, where does one keep over a thousand unbuilt models living in a small two bedroom apartment? I have the majority of them in the bedroom stacked up along the wall on my side of the bed, others are in the closet and yet some more are in the front closet in boxes.

Mostly my basement. A very few in my room....Click on my Fotki link in my signature and scroll down to the my Stash album, it's got several pictures...Too many to post on the board.

Pretty soon I will be sending some to storage to make more room, only going down to get them when I need them.

I have dedicated room in the basement where most all my hobby stuff is. I also have the closet under the stairs where the overflow of large RC aircraft kits live now. ;)

Now I am trying to convience my wife that I need the bigger room in the basement w/ the attached bath.

So far she hasn't been seeing it my way.

Everywhere! ;)

I remember living in a two bedroom apt with 500 kits. One room completely full and kits squirrled away in every other nook and cranny.

I currently have a 2br condo (about 1200 sq ft), and one bedroom (my home office) has about 300 vintage kits and 100 resin kits in the walk-in closet, and some builtups in a display case. I also have about 1200 unbuilts in a 10x10 climate controlled storage unit.

I'm looking at buying a house (about 3500-4000 sq ft) in the next year or two with enough room to have a dedicated hobby build area, storage, and display area...not to mention at least a 3 car garage, as I currently have a 1 car garage and 3 cars..

I keep my collection of 1400 kits in boxes in a spare room. trying to cut down on buying kits but you know how it goes, see that one kit you are looking for and figure one more won't hurt and the collection grows and grows and grows.

Let's see, most of them are in a storage area I share with my Sister, got some stashed in various parts of my bedroom (I'm single so no problems there), and occasionally I'll have 1 or more in the Jeep, then there's also my RC and slot car stuff on top of that.....................................

Any one can tell by looking at my stash, I'm definately not married. ;) My house really isn't that big, but it has a full basement which really helps out, but the house is only a small three bedroom.
