I haven't seen this movie since it's original showing at Chicago's Montclair Theater. It's still funny But the real stars are the cars and trucks.

I rented it once and did all the car scenes in slow motion and over and over. I believe I taped it so I should have it here somewhere in VHS. Typical mindless zany movie of that era where they tried to pack in as many stars as they could. Classic!

YES!!! Talk about a 'movie car' movie!!!!

Some would be easy...other TOUGH.....but I'd like to build a few of them.

One of the last 'old Hollywood' films.

This movie is still a favorite of mine. Love Dick Shaw in the '62 Dodge trying to run Milton Berle and Terry Thomas off the road. And you got to give Ethel Merman credit her willingness to play the character she played in that movie. Who would have thought a person of her class could have play someone so funny? Plus the gas station scene with Winters. Another great one! This movie is still great. And not just for the cars. Though the cars make it worth watching too.

I'm coming Mama, I'm coming. Dick Shawn was an underated comic/actor in my opinion. His talents were well on display in that movie.

I love him sliding over to the passenger side of his car to threaten Milton Berle. Then realizing no body is at the wheel his car, he screams and quickly slides back to the driver's side. A second or two later he's doing it all over again. That and Johnathan Winters wrecking gas station are the two best things in a movie with lots of great moments of great comedy. Funny from Jimmy Durate "kicking the bucket", all the way through to the end.

I'm glad I have it DVD. In fact talking about watching movies tomarrow night to celebrate New Years. This maybe the movie we have to watch.

A classic that cannot be surpassed for either sheer vehicular mayhem or its all-star cast (I'd forgotten the 3 firemen were the 3 Stooges). Hopefully, nobody will attempt to remake it.

They did remake it.....kinda.....Rat Race.......same concept....but different enough thank goodness.
