crazyjim Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 First completion of 2015 and the first time using my homemade interior decals. I used HOK lemon yellow and mixed some Pearl-Ex bright yellow into the first clear coat. I thought Rally wheels would look good on it. I used Rustoleum texture paint for the bedliner and made a cowl induction hood.
cobraman Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Very sharp ! As I said before you have a way with interiors.
slusher Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Beautiful model Jim, and real nice touch on the bed liner....
Dyno Davo Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 A work of art, yellow and chrome match so well.
espo Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Very nice. I had to put on my sun glasses for the color. I liked the bed idea, I'll use that for sure on my next pick-up.
crazyjim Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Thanks David. Rustoleum texture paint is the stuff. Comes in several colors. The paint used for outdoor plastic furniture isn't bad either. It has a finer finish.
Scalper Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Nice looks good in yellow.. the bed looks cool .
TooOld Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I'm addicted to El Caminos and have always wanted a yellow one like this . It's beautiful , great job Jim !
kruleworld Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) it's a beautiful model, but it'd be a b***h to drive in full sunlight (there's a reason 1:1 interiors shouldn't be yellow) Edited January 5, 2015 by kruleworld
