David it is possible that the new arrangement gets more views as it puts our dios in with the rest of the WIPs.  The people who scan WIPs regularly see it where they didn't before. If they didn't before it is because they never or rarely went to the Diorama section. So the corresponding lack of comment is likely a result that they are just not interested. No harm done. You still have your followers.

Thanks, Pat...... that sounds like a very reasonable explanation.

I had this 352 from a Starliner kit. It has some interesting internal detail, so I built it for display in the dio as a work in progress.

Really nice work on all the detailing, it looks fantastic!!! you look like you have more than a few horses lying around in that garage waiting to be put to work?

Following the acquisition of the F40, the Boss gathered all 5 of his Ferraris in the shop . They'll be detailed and prepped for an upcoming all Ferrari show.

Pat I always enjoy looking in to see what is going on in your shop. Your figures look amazing! Great work as always!
Is there a future project for that 12v-71?

I have a Freightliner cabover on the shelf. Very likely that one.

A " behind the shop " scene such as you suggest would work, Pat...... because you can turn your whole diorama model around to show the back of the shop, I guess?

It would be a separate one with the door intended to be the other side of this one.

Oh I see..... this is what happened to my terraced houses diorama in 1:43 scale, which expanded into a second diorama, the factory.

Dioramas that are a work in progress are continuously evolving.

Turns out we are planning to move and I have started packing some stuff. When I looked at the empty shop, I couldn't help it. It called for a photo.

Oh I see now........ well that's a relief........ Very funny !

Good luck with the move, Pat.

The empty quarters have a certain nostalgic effect. Even worse with people in them.

I see what you mean. It's like the guys are having a last look round before they walk away from the workplace. A long time successful company is going out of business, and there are many good memories of times past.
