I'm suffering from a case of terminal overjoy, as this was my first NNL. The things I learned, the sights I saw, the stuff I snagged from the vendors tables, but more important than that, I think I've adopted a new family. A major shout out to everyone I met and special fist bump to John Teresi, Art Laski, Ira Dahm, Roy Sorenson and the crew that stepped up to shuttle me back and forth from the hotel.

Speaking of which, as I was walking out to the parking lot with my volunteer driver, (Roy?, Ron?, Scott? sorry, name overload too  ), we were joined by another gentleman and we all pleasantly chatted. On our way out of the parking lot, I was asked if I planned on going to GSL. I replied emphatically in the positive as I wanted to see the International Model Car Museum.

Him: Any car in particular?

Me: Yes, that narrowed yellow Super Bee Funny Car.

Him: Do you know who built it?

Me: I know his name but I don't remember it....

Him: Was it Jim Keeler?

Me: THAT'S the guy.

Him: That's who was walking with us!!!

Me: GET OUT OF TOWN !!!!!

My mind was officially and totally BLOWN. Now I know how a Hemi feels. If you read this Jim, you were my inspiration for my love of Hemi's. Thank you a thousand times over.

As for all I met, I thank you for your hospitality and cheery dispositions. Again, a thousand apologies to those whose names escape me. Between Phoenix and the GSL, I'll get there.

There we go !!! Thanx John. Especially thanks to Paul and Scott. I just checked the map and I'll be driving my Dodge Journey to Phoenix, weather permitting. Should be nice in April. Anybody need a ride?

Oh MAN !!! I just realized that I'm going to have even MORE friends to stuff into my shriveled old brain sponge.

Might as well get started now. Lemme see, Danno, Chris, Brad, uh oh !! I strained something.......

It's gonna ROCK.

To everyone who thanked me for the pics, my pleasure. Glad you liked 'em.

Just to add one more. It was a pleasure to meet you, Joe. I might add that we shared a table at breakfast, along with Stan Pinnick and Jim Keeler! I really liked your Chrysler 300 Gasser, you're swinging for the fences. I hope we cross paths at future shows.

Another awesome show. Thanks to the organizers, fellow builders and vendors for making a great show. I am already looking forward to next year whenever it will be. It was announced that due to the Superbowl next year, held across the street from the convention center, the show's date will be pushed back.

Ahhhhh, NUTZ. That's twice I've met Jim Keeler without knowing who he was.

Thanks for the nod to the Gasser Ron. It was a great show and I was happy to meet you and be a part of such a terrific event.

I'm going to Phoenix Desert Scale and GSL. Hopefully I'll see you again soon.

Roy Sorenson just published the 2015 NNL West annual, he did one in 2013 but none for 2014, so I am glad to see it back. check out HPs on-demand service MagCloud, sorry I don't have a link handy

edit to add: there is a link to the annual on this page:

http://www.nnlwest.org/

and it evidently includes bogus, I mean "bonus" coverage of 2014 too.

edit again to add:

though this publication seems to have usurped the photo coverage that usually appears, for free, on the page linked above. kind of jive if you ask me but I guess someone has to make money on it somehow. now it seems they don't even publish links to others photos, and the free coverage was very sparse last year as well.
