After several weeks of fighting the interior and body interference, I finally have this finished. Used AMT's Low Rider kit
DSCN5630-vi.jpg

Interior painted Krylon Brown Boots and MM Leather. Exterior done in Duplicolor Mazda Copper Fire Red Mica with Several coats of Krylon acrylic clear. Tires are from a parts pak while wheels are from AMT's 70.5 Camaro. Suspension set on lowest setting, stance looks good to me. Lost the distributor during the body fitment issue. I think the carpet monster ate it

Beautiful build!! I have a soft spot for that body style of Monte. My brother had a '70 that was Rootbeer brown metallic with skirts and rally wheels. Yeah, it was the 70's. LOL!! :D But man, was that car fun!! You did this build justice man!! Nice work. B)

Kudos on a great build overall, but especially on your color selection and application. It'd be hard not to like the shades you picked for the interior, but when matched up with that Mazda paint on the body, it really comes together nicely.

More please.

Very nice. A black wash on the grille would help some.

It does. Maybe I should attempt another coat of the Detailer? Thanks guys

Wow that is one pretty Monte, very nice work! I love those colors, and they go so well together. I gotta get me some of that Copper Fire Red. Those Camaro wheels are a great touch too, might have to do that with mine as well. Yes, I would suggest adding another coat of black wash to the grille. Again, great work and keep 'em coming!

Yep. SLUSHER, I know what ya mean!! Those are about the only parts I DON'T super glue to my fingers!! :P:D And yes, it would be hard to find a better color combo for this car. Beautiful work sir.

Oscar great build and love the colour, one question I have the Fast & Furious version of this kit (basically the same lowrider kit), how easy was it to get a stock looking ride height on the suspension, this kit has like a 1001 different combinations of heights to use, looks quite confusing on the instruction sheet Lol.
