Yes, she is pretty pricey, I did manage to get my last two 1/12's on sale I am getting hooked on the larger scale cars and unfortunately 1/16, 1/12 and 1/8 comes at a price I keep saying no more kits, then find something else that catches my fancy and of we go again:)
Twokidsnosleep Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 That doesn't look even one bit dangerous
Pete J. Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 That doesn't look even one bit dangerous Oh, heck no! A bit like a lawn mower with no cover. My guess is the builder has no kids.
GLMFAA1 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 The Sherman tank during WWII had a radial engine version http://www.jeepcity.co.uk/imagelib/sitebuilder/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=actual&linkpath=http://www.jeepcity.co.uk/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/jeep123456.JPG&target=tlx_picpidx greg
Jairus Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) If any of you guys bothered to subscribe to the Model Cars Magazine ( the source that provides this play room) you would see that I did a Sketchpad article about the very subject of this thread. Too bad few of you will pay the entry fee. But, I will post a picture of this street rod I started quite a few years ago. Revell '32 Roadster frame with Monogram wheels and tires. The engine is a scratch built replica of a General Stuart medium battle tank. Tried multiple positions and never finished it. Shame you guys won't see the cool Sketchpad article tho.... Joe Handley Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Just bought that issue thursday night before leaving work Jairus

Great way to get rid of the kids, and make concealment of the little corpses easier. Kiddie mulch. Edited February 8, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy

Sheesh, talk about a ego. Good lord, lighten up. $40 to some is a fair amount of change, and they would rather invest it into kits, paint, etc, or they dont have it at all. landman Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 How many aircraft engines are actually kitted in 1/25th (1/24th) ?
Agent G Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Our resident "artist emeritus" has again made an appearance. This time inserting unnecessary comments in what could have been an inspirational post. G
Guest Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Yeah, that is one of the worst posts I have seen him do. I do not understand the animosity in it.
landman Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I see my quote comment didn't print again. Is that Allison kit still available?
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) I see my quote comment didn't print again. Is that Allison kit still available? Usually available NOS or used on ebay as that particular kit for between $10-$30, and in the old AMT 8158 "Blueprinter" parts pack. It also comes in the AllisonThunderland funny car kit, this older-issue AMT parts-pack, and the more recent multi-engine pack below (TDR also offers a 1/8 scale 3D printed version for under $300, if you want to go big): Edited February 8, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy

This needs to be finished Jairus. And I have been getting Model Cars Mag from day one, and still have them all. How about a Mid Engine roadster? Edited February 8, 2015 by 1930fordpickup
