Helix Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Thanks everyone, really appreciate all your comments, would be nice if they re-tooled this thing because it's such a nice kit but a real PINTA to build!
Mr Stock Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Beautiful work Ray, love the stance and the colour

Nacho Z Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Wow, Ray! I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said. I think that this has to be one of, if not the nicest example of this model I have ever seen. Great job!!!
thatz4u Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 No wonder I can't find any 59 elkys, they are all in a land down under...fantastic detail on that one Mate.
Can-Con Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Just a great build. I've seen pics of that 1/1 Elky a few times and it's made me think of doing one like it too but I don't have a kit to do it with. Just love your recreation though. Thought I was still looking at the real truck in the first few pics.
carrucha Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Sweet El Camino. There is very good article in the Rodder's Journal #42 on the builder of the 1/1 '59 El Camino.

Dirty Dave Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 This build is relevant to my interests. Great job!
unclescott58 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 As others have said, that is a stunning build Ray. Very nice. If you told about the color and wheels before hand, I would have questioned it. I would not have said anything. But, I would have questioned it. And boy, I would have been wrong. Scott
