Joker Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Saw Doug Rice '39 Ford on Rik Hovings Fotki page and . . . took a gluebomb AMT Forty for my 'lil tribute.
Joker Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 a few more . . . AMT in green and Lindberg in blue. Thanks for looking.
Eshaver Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 James , I can see you haven't lost yer touch !
Joker Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Thanks Ed. I'm missing the show tomorrow...gotta work (mandatory). Might be able to stop by in the afternoon tho.
oldnslow Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Really nice job on the 40, is the Lindberg 40 that much smaller than the AMT or is it just an optical illusion?
Joker Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) Thanks Y'all . . . @ Robert (Oldnslow), must be the angle of the pic. The AMT (green one) is sectioned and the Lindberg (blue) is not. Both got the tops lowered. Edited March 2, 2015 by Joker
Foxer Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 That is a beauty ... all the major bodywork done just right!
christian-w Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 This is an awesome built! When I was looking at the pictures, I thought about, the the body looks longer than I remember. I have some 40s Ford in my shelf so I wasn't really sure, what you have done with it. The sectioning is awesome! Fabulous work!
Joker Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks y'all. @ Christian...the hood got a mild section and the fenders were raised. It gives it a longer and lower look.
Pete L. Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Super job, looks like the cars in the "little pages " from back in the day !!! :D
rmvw guy Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Nice job James on both. Nothing like a custom '40 Ford.
Joker Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Thanks Y'all. Here's a photo my club buddy George took at a show in Roanoke VA. (Thanks George)
