MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. I say go for it. The proportions look OK. The 1/4 panels and trunk slope may be a bit off. There are no emblems on the body either. The interior looks correct. This is 2nd Bezrodny file I've printed. The first was the 73 Cutlass which is pretty well proportioned. I just printed his 83 Fleetwood and so far it looks good. Had to add emblems on that one too. Thanks again
  2. Thanks Jeff. The hump is there, it's just so flat it's hard to see. One of the flaws with this file.
  3. This is printed from the Andrey Bezrodny file. It started as a commissioned stock build, but after I realized the proportion issues the buyer pulled out. I decided to continue the build as a mild custom with lowered suspension, 24" wheels, and painted Tamiya Metallic Black. I used styrene strips for the up-top seams and hinge, and shortened the window opening. I added the emblems and scripts to the body using 3D Builder. I also added the Cadillac emblem to the wheels which were printed from the Pixel3D file. Using 3D Builder I changed the seats and door panels to look more like the 1970 interior and painted Cadillac interior gold by MCW. The sun visors were printed from the 3DVM file. Bumpers and grill are sprayed with Revell Chrome. Scratch-built exhaust tip. I could have spent more time sanding but I just wanted to get it done. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.
  4. He's pretty good about answering phone calls. I've talked with him a few times.
  5. Rock it till the wheels fall off. Then put them back on and keep going.
  6. I find with 3d printing sand paper can be your friend.
