Jim B
I'll probably pick up the Volvo VN780 & Ford AeroMax106. The IVECO Stralis Hi-Way is intriguing!
BigBad
That is good news. building the the VN670 was enjoyable enough, I'll have a crack at the 780 for sure!
chuckyr
I'll probably pick up the Volvo VN780 & Ford AeroMax106. The IVECO Stralis Hi-Way is intriguing! I still have the original 670 and 780 unbuilt from when Testors was the US distributor of Italeri. I have the Stralis and I will get the updated Hi-Way. I am still hoping Italeri will have some new American kits to announce later on this year.
Mr mopar
I like the 20' container trailer just have to north americanize it , Czech truck models is doing a Photo etch for the Volvo vn 780 way can't Italeri do a Peterbilt 352H cab over that would be cool. Jim B
Because it's easier to just reissue kits then to design new ones. In 20 years we'll be saying the same thing about the LoneStar & ProStar.

In 20 years we'll be saying the same thing about the LoneStar & ProStar. Have faith people. In the latest issue of truck model world magazine there is talk of Drake trailers and Kenworth Australia looking at model companies to produce model kits. They have collaborated already to produce 1/50 scale diecast and they were received well. I reckon it wil happen. Ben
Chuck Most
I am still hoping Italeri will have some new American kits to announce later on this year. If by 'new American kits' you mean 'a new cab and hood for the same Freightliner chassis they've been using under all of their domestic tractors for as long as anybody cares to remember', please count me out. That being said, I'm still getting the Aeromax 106... wrong chassis or not, I could use one or five of those.

I have been assured that there will be announcements of several new tool American truck and trailer kits around the second half of 2014 and a variation on the Moebius reefer trailer as well as some new tool truck and trailer kits by them in the foreseeable future. BTW, did you purchase the Moebius reefer trailer?

Jim B
Pretty slick decals, probaly wouldn't use most of them. They are kind of neat, though. Interesting how they have the VN listed as "Sweden" as the Country. These are made exclusivly for the North American Market, and are not sold in Sweden (I don't even think this would fit on European city roads). Granted, Volvo is Swedish so that's probably why they did what they did.
