  1. Sterling silver is worth more than dirt.
  2. And an AI-equipped robot to put it together for them...and paint will be illegal.
  3. Monday can be a fun day if you love your work.
  4. If I play, I'll most likely do a curbside of my '89 GMC longbed daily. She looks like something that shouldn't run, with the typical self-stripping GM waterbase fleet white from the late 1980s, which green moss has apparently developed a taste for. Where the paint is down to the primer, surface rust is coming through, and after a ditzy chick ran a light in front of me, the virgin bodywork isn't any more. The upholstery on what's left of the bench seat is a fender cover and a pink bath towel...but she has a brand new windshield and 4 fat M&S blackwall radials. It should be interesting trying to do her appearance justice.
  5. Don't. Never put lacquer over enamel...and if you just HAVE to try it, DON'T do it on a model. TEST TEST TEST TEST and TEST SOME MORE.
  6. Music playing innocently in the background on a YT video can trigger copyright-violation reports by Karens who believe it's their mission in life to tell the teacher when anyone does something baaaaaaad, whether anything is the least bit negatively-impacted or not.
  7. Do as I say, because I'm in a position of unearned authority, and it makes me feel important to tell people how to behave...especially when they have no power to fight back.
  8. After seeing Can Con's post about modding a Ford to look more like the big Caddy, and pulling up some photos of the Caddy...with even exhaust port spacing and a front-mounted distributor...it kinda seems to me the hot setup would be to lightly massage a Ford and see if you can score a set of the Caddy valve covers from an Eldo. EDIT: Maybe...but I certainly have not researched this enough to really give any advice here, and I know essentially nothing about that generation of Caddy engine.
  9. What about the supposed 472 in the later model Johan Caddys? I honestly can't recall the straight scoop on that one right off hand...
  10. Quandaries be like "is the moon really made of gas like we were told last week, or is that just hot air?"
  11. 2 packages from the same supplier, similar sizes and weights, both shipped on May 1 at the same time at the same PO...one of them has arrived at my local PO to be delivered tomorrow, one is wending its way across the country. Nobody can tell me this is because of "logistics" that I'm too dense to comprehend.
  12. Feeling frustrated can be perfectly justified, but stamping your feet, screaming, and smashing things like a giant out-of-control baby isn't the way to deal with anger, it does nothing to alleviate whatever is causing you stress, and only makes you look like a an immature fool.
  13. Drums and cans from Wespe in 1/24 resin, now on sale... https://www.wespemodels.com/military_models/military_models_scale_1_24/scale_1_24_diorama_accessories/drums_set_wes_24002
