  1. Thanks. I’ll try and find that info on FB, I follow her.
  2. What a great project, looks great and I like that your making it correct to the real car.
  3. A very cool project Daniel! I’ll be following! I love your decals, that might be something I want to try in the future. Great detail! Im needing a little inspiration and your suppling it!
  4. Where do I start? To get the front end low enough the K member sits on the ground and the front tires hit the fender aprons. So the spindles need to be raised, the K member needs to be trimmed to fit closer to the frame rails, and the aprons need to be replaced, so I disassembled most of the work I’ve already done. I trimmed the aprons off and re-sanded the attachment points. I grabbed another K member from my parts kit and trimmed the mounting points to raise closer up. The kits design has the K member doubled up so it’s rather thick, I’m only using the lower K member now. The space between control arms is now too narrow and I’ll probably have to scratch build the spindles. I’m a little concerned about the radiator support being to low now, but I will have to test fit everything to see where it’s at. During all the test fits I have now tore the rear wheel tub. I seriously think Einstein’s theory of relativity was easier than re-engineering this kit.
  5. Thank you Francis, I’m looking forward to getting back to normal life. Raising the aprons doesn’t bother me too much, I could adjust the attachment point of the wheel making it off center, but you can’t do that on a real car, so I hate to do that on my build. Scratch building new spindles is a thought…..
  6. Thank you Rich, can you give me a little mote detail on what you did on your 72?
  7. Great work, great subject! Can I ask where the decals come from?
  8. Life can get real interesting at times, it’s been over a month since I’ve had a chance to work on my BTK Demon. My mother in law has been Very sick for some time, and she passed away on my birthday March 22. Needless to say, my wife and I have been preoccupied with life and all that goes with it. I was finally able to get a little bench time in this weekend, and I’m surely having to reacquaint myself with the build. I felt like I needed to establish the wheelbase starting at the front suspension. I had reversed the kits spindles and though it lowered the front it’s not enough to achieve the ride height I’m looking for. So I’m having to rethink things. The tires are almost touching the fender aprons, so however I lower, or raise the front suspension I will need to address the aprons. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  9. The ladder bars are from the Johan Hornet Funny Car kit I turned into the Drag on Lady Pro Stock.
  10. All good DW, I don’t always type exactly what’s in my head……
  11. Thanks DW, I just meant the update of the car to 73 rules requirement.
