Good to see you posting again my friend, I was wondering what happened to ya...  B)

Looks like you're having fun with the Hornet, I looked at it, but got too many fires going to add another one.

Looking forward to see what you do with the car and good luck with your business

In Topic: Thinning Tamiya Fine Surface and Scale Finishes question

24 May 2015 - 05:27 AM

I have the Tamiya in the bottle so will need to thin

I've never seen nor used their primer in a bottle, only have seen it in a "rattle-can"

You might try thinning it with lacquer thinner...

If you decant the primer, you won't have to thin it for your airbrush.

please note if you're using Tamiya's primer on resin, I've had problems with it "biting" into the resin...and yes I have scrubbed/cleaned the "dickens" out of the resin!

No problem with Scalefinishes paint o'er Tamiya's primers, works all the time!

good luck  B)

Try using "heat shrink tubing" too cover the wire wrap also...

and you can paint teflon with with any of Tamiya's lacquer spray paint and bottle paints.
