This is my Volvo Amazon Hillclimbracer made from the Revell 1/18th diecast model. The original Revell Volvo: and this is how it looks now: I built an inline six engine: the original Volvo engine bay with a B18 engine: added a transaxle gearbox, K&W coil over shocks, front- and rearstabilizers: the interior: original and racer:

Carsini Wineries stake truck
Michael F replied to Michael F's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Thank you so much for your interest and kind comments, guys!! Don, i used this AMT kit for this one, comes with the Thrift Master inline six. I changed one thing on the engine: i installed an oilfillercap to the valvecover instead of the oilfiller tube on the side of the engine. -
Thank you for your kind comments and likes fellas !! Very cool pic and interesting facts, thank you !

I need some gas tank ideas
Michael F replied to junkyardjeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Jeff, i really love your tractor and i´m looking forward for the finished thing 🙂 I made the fueltank for my Carsini wineries truck from PVC tube. Diameter is 16 millimeters or 0,629921 inches. I got it at a homeimprovement store, its a protective tube for power cables. Cutted it in length i needed and glued plastic sheet on both sides. Added a filler tube and retaining straps from styrene. Some sanding and painting - ready. -
Very cool Torino, my favorite NASCAR bodystyle. 🙂

Thanks for all your kind comments, guys!! Yes indeed, i thought a car with Porsche engine needs Porsche wheels 😉

They are all cool, especially the crew cab Ford. -
Great job on both! I like weathered models. 🙂

I wanted to do this one for a long time, a fictional Carsini winery truck from the ´Columbo´ crime series. The Chevy cab and engine are from the amt kit and these great looking wheels are from scenes unlimited. I stole the chassis from the Revell Opel Blitz kit. Everything else is from the partsbox or scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene and real wood.

Here are my models of 2023: ´36 Ford dirt modified: 1963 HM Nascar "safety" frame: ´32 Ford Asphalt modified: Lindberg dirt modifieds: The 1/18th heavy modified diecast Volvo hillclimbracer was built over a five year period, i count it in for 2023, because of the year i finished it 😉 VW T3 van with Porsche 6 cylinder: ´50s Chevy Carsini wineries stake truck, do you imagine which Columbo episode my favorite is? 🙂

They are all very nice, beautiful. They deserve the trophies! The ´56 Ford "WILD HOG" blows my mind.
