This is one beautiful truck !! Very well done !! -
Charles, Your model looks cool, especially the modified Nascar chassis. The Bobby Hillin decals are a good choice.? Looking forward for the finished one. I did this model from the very same amt kit: I used the kit chassis with some modifications. Here is the whole thread: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/188324-´66-buick-skylark-modified-stocker/ I consider the wheels to big as well, but look at the supercool photo of the modified posted by Johnny Canuck. It carries the big (kit) wheels actually?

The original Revell Volvo: and this is how it looks now: I built an inline six engine: the original Volvo engine bay with a B18 engine: added a transaxle gearbox, K&W coil over shocks, front- and rearstabilizers: the interior: original and racer:

Thank you so much for your interest and kind comments, guys!! Don, i used this AMT kit for this one, comes with the Thrift Master inline six. I changed one thing on the engine: i installed an oilfillercap to the valvecover instead of the oilfiller tube on the side of the engine. -
Thank you for your kind comments and likes fellas !! Very cool pic and interesting facts, thank you !

I need some gas tank ideas
Michael F replied to junkyardjeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Jeff, i really love your tractor and i´m looking forward for the finished thing ? I made the fueltank for my Carsini wineries truck from PVC tube. Diameter is 16 millimeters or 0,629921 inches. I got it at a homeimprovement store, its a protective tube for power cables. Cutted it in length i needed and glued plastic sheet on both sides. Added a filler tube and retaining straps from styrene. Some sanding and painting - ready. -
Very cool Torino, my favorite NASCAR bodystyle. ?
