  1. Heeey, thats me! Hah, wicked - I really appreciate the shout out, man. Getting this absurdly huge tire decal selection going is a weird trait of mine that doesn't appear to get any slower for the forseeable future given I'm still missing just about any drag tire(sticking with road tires for the most part). Same goes for the cars, got a disturbing amount of stuff on the to-do list. Gotta say though, I am hella behind on orders since the two-man team got reduced to one through a personal tragedy so the turnaround times are a little all over the place as of late 😧
  2. C1 Models and A&N Models have some exceptionally good European stuff too, A&N's definitely more pick up, truck and van related however. Got C1's Caddy, Koenigs Ferrari, Bowler Defender 110 and the SLS AMG body kit and they're nothing short of kit quality stellar.
  3. Thanks for the screenshot explaining it, picture's worth a thousand words after all! Also shot ya' an email regarding the colors, just to make sure the bird's colors match the Firebird as best they can! As for the general remarks. The artwork's still for the 1/25th & 1/24th scales as it generally gets the point across, though I still will upload color variations and the far more detailed 1/8th artwork to each drop down choice eventually. Bit of a hassle to get everything functioning as it is with the twin choice thingy. For two weekends in a row I got dragged off by family to give me some escapism from the loss I had to endure three weeks ago so I tend to pick up the plethora of mail in the days after. Seriously, apologies for not getting back to any of y'all sooner. I had it mostly finished back around the time when my girlfriend had her stroke and slowly when the opportunity arose added pieces of upgraded art(generally, making it equal to the Revell kit decals and going further) and managed to at least get it done last month. Been getting anywhere between ten to thirty requests a week for it so I'd say its about time. That being said though, this one only made it due to it being largely done before my life took such a drastic turn, the remainder of the 'Coming Soon' page is basically now at a point where I can't make any promises, though. I was a third of the way with creating the 10th Anniversary hood bird with the elongated wings, having measured the whole thing out so it sits flush with the hood and the wrap around the A pillars but, yeah... It got stalled, much like the rest. So the regular ol' shaker variety bird will be the only 1/8th scale design I'm doing for the next few months until things get settled. I oughta mention though, few things that I was requested or came up with to make life easier on this behemoth of a friggin' model are a dash pattern and a single cluster of gauges that can be placed before putting the plate over it as right now you're meant to... kinda either guess or do it in reverse, plate first and awkwardly fenagling decal gauges through. Accurate plates were a big thing too, and I purchased a plotter with a de/embosser tool that'll allow me to get raised letter plates for at least the 1/8th scale some time in the future. Once I get back at it in a while, I'm not 100% certain which 1/8th set will take priority as I'm being asked to do just about any version equally but the '81 version is high on my own list simply due to how ungodly rare and kind of alien the artwork for the hood is. I'll keep an ear to the ground for the requests, base it on that. Likely will be the 10th Anniversary, hah. Edit: Also should add. I've worked with the hood piece for a few hours on and off the body and perhaps I'm just a very lucky soul but mine's flush with the body. Granted, mine was wedged under everything else in the box and it has a thinning amount of plastic from the front to the rear, that might be why its so prone to warping.
  4. It'll still be publicity, mwaha! Getting myself some sets printed as well, got the Sierra the sets were measured on sitting around gathering dust - time to turn that guy into a proper Sierra XR4i. And I appreciate all the kind words, truly. It's... it's been a rollercoaster, man. This is just a side project that we did after I'd be home from work that spiraled out of control massively, though with the two of us and having Joe Morgan retailing for us out of Wisconsin, it's manageable. We've been at the mercy of the printing company at times but never near as bad as the last two months. We finally got our prints in from October just last week, and the November print's looking to get delivered in the third week of December due to the horrendous backlog of orders they themselves are working through. Before Vicky fell ill, she'd manually inform every single soul that there's been a delay and keep the website banners up to date at every moment and man am I struggling to keep everything communicated properly the last couple o' weeks after her passing. I'm just super happy and grateful that people are patient and above all, so unbelievably friendly. Like, sure this loss is a pretty okay excuse to be slow on the replying and such but I'd be lying if I didn't feel guilty for keeping folks hanging and having to tell them they're waiting six to eight weeks to get some decals. So, seriously - thanks, for the patience, the friendliness and overall just that kinda... I don't know how to describe it, that kind of "we're all humans" feeling that y'all give me. From the emails, the messages, the replies here, I can safely say we've got friends and family in just about every state and province in North America. Y'all rule ❤️ Safe to say though, despite it all, designing esoteric decal sets is easily my favorite part of the whole thing and I'm told that hobbies make for good therapy so, guess sooner or later I'll be putting my focus back into catalog growth and then some.
  5. Oh heck I had no idea that order was for a MCM Admin, that raises the stakes haha. Makin' me nervous overhere! We've been dealing with the printing company having one issue after another for the last fifty days, grinding just about everything to a halt but yeah we try to be as vocal and transparent as possible. Least I can do is be clear when stuff hits the fan and, while totally inexcusable to have to sit 'n wait for a month and a half for a print order, not hearing/saying a word about it is worse I reckon. Though my girlfriend Vicky handled all the customer service/emailing for a year and a half until she suddenly passed away two weeks ago, so I'm half-cocked trying to fill both seats out of nowhere after enduring the worst print delay we've had in years. Fun times here, fun times! Wish me luck >.< Also about the North American dealer, I'm super happy to hear that he's doing exactly what we both hoped would happen! ❤️ Joe Morgan of the FB store's a hell of a dude, he's just about allowed me to go from a few hundred of designed sets to hundreds in just shy of a year.
  6. The decals: And for funsies, a 1/25th '77 Firebird next to this behemoth:
  7. Probably a good time to chime in, I reckon hah. Haven't logged on for so long, but I lurk from time to time! The reseller's gonna get a bucket load of Free Wheelin' sets before the end of July so at least they'll be there for those in the States. That being said though, no idea why his eBay shipping for Canada is nearly as high as it is for me over in the Netherlands(I get 39$ on my end). Given the huge size of the set making it costly as heck to print, I was initially really hesitant to have any more printed on my own accord cause I really, really expected Round 2 to put in the decals themselves even if yes originally they were a '79 option. I only have two sets on hand at the moment if folk don't mind the somewhat longer shipping times, so it's something I suppose! By the way, thanks Can-Con for sharing the shipping info ❤️ Also a little edit: I was gonna continue putting stuff on eBay but their fee/share taken was on both shipping and the item and truly it was literally costing more than it even brought back in. I wish I could still send stuff out via regular envelope for a fraction of the cost for everyone involved, right now I'm losing a little bit on shipping(its the exact price for shipping, but the sturdy boxes are on me basically). Its weird putting a flat sheet in a box to ship internationally, but atleast there's no more forced returns with friggin' fines.
  8. Ohhh hold up, new tool G-model 911's? I love the old Revell Premium/Fujimi Enthusiast kits and they've aged rather well but holy hell they're hard to come by. I really wonder how detailed they're gonna go with the new 911's.
  9. That's actually not a terrible price, I expected it to be far higher! Hopefully by the time this whole COVID horror show's gone the friggin' mail systems will have recovered.
  10. Ohh heck you're right, I was thinking of the GTR. The LM is the road going version of course, derped a little. Can't help but wonder what the retail price will be down the line for these bad boys.
  11. McLarens, Porsches, an Audi and a BMW, all street legal(minus the P1 LM) too. Hello debt my old friend. We're critically underserved on McLarens so I'm excited, same for the Audi and BMW. Hell other than Hasegawa, its been years since we had a street stock BMW luxury car.
  12. I do, infact! And I believe the paint was some BMW color, cant remember the name for the life of me but I remember buying it specifically for a '05 X5 >.<
  13. There's something about Hasegawa's Historic Cars series that really tickles my fancy, even a well-thread subject like the R32 Skyline is appreciated, especially since they always do four or so 'editions' before going to the next subject. Hell, given the sheer quality of the what, five different R31 kits, this one's on my to buy list for sure.
  14. It's going pretty alright, as far as it's possible between Brexit about to kneecap my access to the printing company and COVID, hah. This announcement of Revell doing the '71 Mustang's inspired me to finally re-do all the '71-'73 Mustang sets and get to the ones I have had planned for so long, like a handful of Shelby de Mexico models(GT500 with the strobe stripes and '73 GT-350). Shipping wise, man I am getting destroyed by how expensive intercontinental postage is nowadays, in the Netherlands they straight up added 13$ on top of the previous price to 'compensate' for it, so for a brief moment I had this idea to just have a buddy in Calgary, Canada ship 'em locally but that quickly dissolved cause of the how many unique sets(pushing the 300) I have and it requiring a momentous amount of dosh upfront to invest. It's a hell of a thing, hah.
  15. Its actually quite interesting to see how perfectly polarized the excitement here is. One half, me included, over the moon. The other disappointed that it's yet another Mustang or from the wrong generation. Nothing wrong with it of course, interests don't have to line up, just noticing the exact split.
  16. Holy mother of God this is genuinely the most excited I've been about Revell since the 1983 Olds Cutlass.
  17. Hah, what a coincidence! I just purchased the Datsun Sunny kit along with the Isuzu Gemini by Lotus. Also, thanks y'all!
  18. Bet this is the first one on this forum, reckon it'll be a weird sight to spot a Stanza between all the muscle. I've been on a Hasegawa kick lately with their Historic Cars series, they're just utterly amazingly well put together and honestly, I'd argue they're surpassing Tamiya in sheer quality. Not to mention, they're pumping out half a dozen new tools a year now. This is the SSS-R version, albeit engineless, which held the weird claim to fame that it was the single best equipped factory rally car from the eighties. It was entirely road legal, but came equipped with a fat, thick skid plate, offroad tires, a roll-bar and this outrageous yet utterly fitting of the era paint scheme that proudly displayed the specs of the ATTESA 4WD system and the turbocharger. Also, incase you're wondering why there's '87 Idaho plates on a car that never left Japan? Happened to have a spare set that was meant to go on a '87 Buick GNX, same scale and all.
  19. To be fair, Hobby Search usually charges atleast 10$ more than US stores as they're located in Asuka, JP so they have to actually import 'em. Reckon it'll be a 20$ kit.
  20. Isn't this the kit that is like a third of the way reasonable but totally made obsolete by the Revell kit? Hell of a choice for them to uh, well, y'know, even spend a dime on. With all the investment for tool X and mold Y talk here, I can't even comprehend the choice on this one... Saturation cause Revell's Eclipse's been OOP since '15?
  21. Actually I'm all the way over in the Netherlands! I just have a fascination for the US license plates and trying to make 'em at least accurate and make decal sets as a little side operation. Though the Nebraska pick was kind of only 'cuz the '87-'90 sunset plate having a neat combo of colors with the car itself, the Lancaster county tag was purely coincidental. Though I do have distant family just outside of Lincoln in Waverly, maybe it was subconscious haha
  22. Really wanted to do this kit proper once, having built it as bare box stock as I could've three years ago. The engine bay's still quite a mess and unfinished, ran out of wiring materials and whatnot midway through making the A/C unit and the supplies aren't slated to be here for another 8 weeks so... Thought it would be nice to have on the shelf in the meantime. Still gotta patch up the engine bay's paint issues, glue stains and all that in the future with the A/C system. Love, love these Revell kits from way back then, got a Thunderbird SC lined up to join it. Kit had some really, really bad warp though, the roof was crushed and the chassis and fenders were bent pretty badly, though the plastic quality has gone rock solid so any bending or even heating up seems to make it brittle and causes it to snap off straight away, so I left it as it was.
  23. Built this one in January but didn't really get around to doing the finishing touches until a week ago. Did still miss a few things, like the center cap decals but since I had to buy a whole second kit for this(didn't have the engine or glass trees with the kit, and couldn't find 'em on the cheap so I bought the RoG one with the muuuuch bigger decal sheet) and spent far too much time on the engine bay. The COVID-19 situation's gotten my life all thrown upside down these days, mentally and physically so these distractions are hugely good to have. Go hobby time! Paint's Tamiya TS54, the rest other than the engine wiring and license plates is just box-stock, nothing too complex. Kinda bummed out I couldn't get the stance right, the body just refused to meet with the chassis. And that the hood doesn't shut, but all in all I'd say it ended up looking quite alright.
  24. I actually had the T/A 6.6 ready to go on there cut out from the sheet, and blew it off the table after getting up and into the friggin' void forever, so I took the other pair I put on the sheet which were 6.6 T/A and 6.6 Litre >.<
