  1. An absolute beauty! Looks great as a "real world" example. I remember these cars well. I owned a '69 Dart GT with 318, 2bbl., automatic. Mine was dark green. I'll look back on this thread when I get ready to build my replica.
  2. I've also had great service and great products from Keith Marks!
  3. I think one aspect of our hobby that really could benefit from a back story is a diorama. A well designed and well built diorama actually tells its own story without it being written down on paper.
  4. Gives you a chance to back up and really study what you have to see if any adjustments need to be made before it's too late. Years ago, I thought guys who did mock ups were just admiring the model ahead of time! Haha. Then, I learned the benefits of doing it for myself.
  5. That's an absolute beauty! Great color and I really like those wheel covers!

    69 Barracuda

Great looking Plymouth! Gold with white stripes looks very nice. I like the way it sits, too. I have a few of this generation of fishes, and yours is getting me interested in starting one!
  7. Absolutely primo! Great modification. Certainly doesn't resemble the part that was languishing in my parts bin! LoL
  8. So, now ya gotta open up the trunk and install the pump and hoses for that great looking mechanism!! Always something to look forward to with one of your builds!
  9. All would be very desirable subject, no doubt. I would put my vote in for the '68, however, followed by the '67.
  10. I like how this roof is progressing. Looking good! As far as the window goes, I think maybe the luxury barges had glass windows, and the intermediate vehicles had clear vinyl windows. I had a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible and it had a vinyl window. My current 1968 Imperial Crown convertible has a glass window. As a side note, I never unzipped either one of them. They both went down into the top well with no problems.
  11. That vehicle in the Mad Max movie is probably the most outrageous one in the series, and it looks as though you have nailed it 100%!! Great job!!
  12. Looks like you're well on your way to making that top work for this project. Ever forward, brother!!
  13. The GTO lid is on its way to ya, Mr. Steve.
  14. I have one of those tops. PM your address and it's yours!
  15. Are you referring to the top that would need to be grafted onto the '65 convertible body in order to turn it into a hardtop? If so, I should have one or two of those hanging about.
  16. That makes me happy that you started your '68 Coronet when you did! LoL
  17. Hard to pin down "One and Done", as it didn't look good for many years that we would see the '71 Dodge Demon again, but it looks as though it is on its way.
  18. Could any of the interior parts from the AMT '59 Imperial convertible kit be usable? And maybe the boot cover?
  19. I haven't tried your technique, yet, but I am going to on my current project, a '67 Dodge Coronet. Do you remove the paint from the script before you apply your clear coats, or after?
  20. Exquisite craftsmanship! Superb results! I can hardly tell the difference between your Pontiac and the 1:1 in the other pic. You deserve a breather after this one! Have a fudge sickle and start another build! LoL 😆
