  1. I would be inclined to click on her Facebook page to see what kinda activity is going on there.
  2. I'm liking this build! The slant six looks great! I owned a '77 Dodge Aspen SE when it was new. 360 V-8, bucket seats, T-tops. Very neat little car, except that just after the warranty expired, little nagging things started happening to it. After nearly two years, I traded it for a Li'l Red Express pickup!
  3. I certainly hope they don't go down the same path as Jo-Han!
  4. I think this is a great custom! The colors are great together. Nothing wrong with the boot cover being a different color. It accents the darker tan very well, I think! Well done on this one!
  5. I'd like to see one of these in kit form:
  6. 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I bought it in 2000, with 50,000 or so miles on it. I still have it, and it has been 321,000 miles, so far. The only major problem I've had was the transmission broke at 304,000 miles. So, I guess I really can't complain!
  7. I was referring to the Fusion and Camry.
  8. If a driver did that at the dirt track I worked at back in the late 80's, he got sent to the back of the pack, no matter how much money he had. The driver I worked for got sent to the back twice that season! LOL
  9. I think they may have listened too much to whiny drivers, whiny owners, and whiny manufacturers. I'd like to see it get back to actual Stock car racing, not a front wheel drive car with an axle in the back!
  10. Very much interested in this build! I owned one of these when they were new. Not my photo, but the '77 AMX I had was exactly like this one.
  11. Visited the local HL store (in north Alabama) last night. No mark-down pricing to be seen.
  12. That's a beautiful tow truck! So well done!!
  13. The Honcho kit I'm working on has a taillight panel that is too wide for the rear end of the bed. It should be an easy fix. I'd rather it be too wide than too narrow! I haven't tried the interior tub, to see how it fits.
  14. How's the progress on this cool Jeep?
  15. That is one cool Plymouth!! Top notch!
  16. Ah...I see! lol I live in Lawrenceburg, Tn. About an hour and a half south of Nashville....close to the Alabama line!
  17. I have kits in my stash that are certainly worth more now than they were when I purchased them. However, I bought every one of them to build, at some point in time. I say, "Go for it!"
  18. Thanks, guys! KWT...where is Mayberry located in Tennessee?
  19. Welcome, Dale! I lived in Knoxville for four years in the early eighties. I visited Elizabethton several times. Very nice area. I'll bet all the hobby shops I knew of in and around Knoxville are gone, now! Looking forward to seeing your Mustang build!
  20. Thanks, guys! It's one of my favorite builds!
  21. TĂșlio, I've seen real cars at shows that didn't look this nice! Beautifully done, sir!!
  22. Very nicely done!! I have seen the real thing on display at a Winn Dixie store in Birmingham, Alabama and this looks like a faithful replica! Being a Mark Martin fan, I hafta say this is one of my favorite race cars!
  23. Welcome, Thomas! I know of another modeler from Sao Paulo. His name is Marco. He builds mostly military models, and they look absolutely real when finished! Looking forward to seeing your handy work, here!
  24. August, 2007, for me. I haven't been extremely active here, for various reasons. Currently, I'm a member of MCM, SA, and three very good Proboards forums. Since my retirement, I am slowly building up my speed, as far as glueing stuff together, and posting on the sites. I check in every day, whether I "say" anything, or not. HAHA Lots to learn, still, as far as model-building goes!
