  1. Very cool! Color is just right for this one, and the interior compliments that, well. I owned the first cousin to the Volare....1977 Dodge Aspen SE with T-tops. They were cool cars!!
  2. No telling which side will come out on the wrong end of that meeting!
  3. That Prowler kit fits into the "Factory Stock" category, too! LOL How many re-issues do they need to do before producing something new?
  4. I have nothing against the Edsel Pacer, but then, I like the AMC Pacer, too! LOL That's a good looking "Funny" there, Gerald!
  5. Not what I was expecting, just from reading the title!! HAHAHA These are some beautiful tops, and they give me ideas for some upcoming builds! Thanks foe posting these.
  6. In the past, I always finished one before starting another. Then.....I had to move my paint booth out of the house. That's fine in warm weather, but when it's cold....welllllll. Therefore, I have a few (7) builds that are up to the painting stage that are waiting on warm weather to break. I can stay busy at the bench in the winter, and try to play catch up in the summer. I do have one build that has been going on for more than seven years, but most of my stuff will be finished this year.
  7. After several days of soaking and scrubbing: I started with is: It's a lot cleaner, but still some work to do!
  8. Think they'll put it all in an AMT box, like they've been doing the Lindberg stuff?? LOL
  9. I hafta say....I like the supercharged tires! LOL
  10. I'm curious about it too. Using it with masking tape makes sense.
  11. That's not an extreme price for a big kit.
  12. Welcome, Chris! MOPAR is my car of choice, too! ANYTHING MOPAR, as far as I'm concerned! HAHAHA Be sure and show us us what you're working on, box stock, or not! We love 'em all!!
  13. That's very cool! It would make an impressive model.
  14. Cool!!
  15. That is wicked! I think it's very well done!
  16. That looks nice! Which roof did you put on that?
  17. The Simple Green didn't seem to work: So, I put in the Purple Power: After nearly three days, it's to this point: Pretty slow going,
  18. The following woodgrain was accomplished using the "dry-brush" technique:
  19. I'll hafta try the Super Clean, myself. The Purple Power isn't working very well on my project.
  20. I'm using the Mustang interior tub on my Cougar fastback build. The following pic shows how I cut out part of the rear wheel wells of the Cougar chassis in order to clear the rear seat area of the Mustang tub: I tried a test fit of the Mustang chassis, and it just didn't seem right on the Cougar.
  21. I'm doing a fastback Cougar conversion, now, and I found out the AMT '68 Mustang chassis doesn't quite fit under the Cougar body.
  22. With everything that went wrong mechanically on my Aspen SE, the one thing that never gave me any trouble were the T-tops. They never leaked, even in a high pressure hand-held car wash!!
  23. Nice!
