    El Camino!

I'm not a Chevy guy, by any stretch, but I would own an ElCamino! Any year would do! This one in the SS trim has a unique look that really stands out. Well done on this example!!

    '84 Hurst Olds

    Superb build! This is
  3. Wagons are cool! I didn't think so when I was a teen, but now I wouldn't mind having a late sixties to mid seventies MOPAR wagon.
  4. These are the kinda JoHan kits I can afford: This one had mile-thick paint on it. It stayed in the brake fluid bath for two weeks!
  5. The photos I have on PB are also on another hosting site. I don't plan on using PB in the near future.
  6. "Mopar[1] is the parts, service and customer care organization within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The name is a portmanteau of the words "MOtor" and "PARts".[1][2] Mopar also designs and builds a small number of customized vehicles." The above statement was taken from Wikipedia.
  7. Makes me wonder what's under the hood of that Toyota!
  8. Ya mean, this one? (Borrowed from the WWW)
  9. Thanks, Dan! Hopefully the transition won't take too much more work.
  10. Delightful little ratmobile! Great job on this one!
  11. I've been working on blending the yellow and white stuff together. Shot some Plastikote primer on it: Still some filling and sanding to do. The angles between the roof and deck lid are a bit different. Gotta work out the transition between the two.
  12. Very well done! I did a similar project with a '62 Impala, but not a 'Cab Forward' design. It was a fun build. This one looks like it might have been fun to do.
  13. Opens up opportunities for a Sunday drive in the country!
  14. Let's see........in June I'll be 63. Been building models for 55 years.
  15. Interesting reading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revell These statements found near the end of the article: Recent history[edit] In 1994, Revell-Monogram was purchased by Hallmark Cards as part of its Binney and Smith division (the owners of famous Crayola crayons; see Shope 1994). This relationship lasted for thirteen years. On May 2, 2007, Hobbico, Inc. announced it had acquired American Revell-Monogram, LLC, corporate owner of the Revell name (Dodson 2007). The Revell name now stands alone in the company logo, without the Monogram name also present, though Monogram still exists as an important line of models in the Revell stable. Hobbico also acquired Revell of Germany in 2012, reuniting the two brands under one banner, but often models sold in the U.S. show Revell Germany as the parent with Hobbico nowhere labeled. On January 10th, 2018, Hobbico, Inc. [12] filed for bankruptcy protection. The future of Revell company is not clear at this moment. As of April 13, 2018 Revell USA ceased operations.
  16. They kinda lost me when front-drive Lumina and Taurus and Intrepids hit the track with rear-drive set-ups. I've never seen any of those in the showrooms!! I hafta wonder if the latest crop of "superstar" drivers could handle the same cars King Richard, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Cale, and even ol' DW drove back in the sixties. You know...actual "stock" cars!
  17. Borrowed from the WWW: The kit is a 1973 issue. It shows opening doors, but the body clearly has the doors molded in. That shouldn't be hard to overcome, in order to open the doors.
  18. I like the way the left taillight is hanging out there on that Vette!
  19. That Scrambler wagon is kinda cool!!
  20. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/90679-looking-for-a-125-lawnmower/ Check this link.
  21. Borrowed from the WWW:
  22. Seems that I remember a "Wheel Horse" riding mower that was included in a few kits, back in the sixties. Not sure which kits. I'll see what I can find out.
  23. Ain't it fun???
