  1. The AMT cases come with vinyl covered wires to use for attaching the model. Also, there are holes embossed from the bottom. There are plenty to choose from, depending on which mounting points you choose. I always try to use the four corners where the wheels are mounted to the frame.
  2. Interesting ride! What is this?
  3. I'd go for those VW's!! Here's another I'd love to see! (Borrowed from the Web) 1968 Imperial Crown convertible.
  4. The Coronet should be an easy do for Revell!
  5. (Borrowed from the Web) 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible.
  6. I also paid $100.00 for a 1/25 scale 1968 Imperial Crown hardtop promo.
  7. That's very cool!! I think the highest price I've paid is $107.00 US for a mint MPC '69 Impala Convertible kit.
  8. From personal experience with Kris' products I'd hafta say, this Hudson will be wonderful! I have a couple '52 kits in the stash, and will look into one of these in the near future.
  9. I'm considering the window trick for the vents, too.
  10. I might have had a hard time chopping up an unbuilt original. This old gluebomb had seen its better days, tho, and I thought it was time to recycle!! LOL
  11. I got this hood from Time Machine Resins, in Nashville: This is a hood for a 1968 Cougar GT-E. It is fairly smooth, with only a couple bubbles along the edge. It fits very well, but I may need to trim it a bit to allow for paint.
  12. Very cool Plymouth! I really like that paint! Should be a honker, too, with that HEMI!!!
  13. The Camaro with the engine swap is very cool box art! Typical Chevrolet, tho! LOL (Spoken by a true MOPAR fan!!) HAHAHA
  14. One of the most beautiful cars ever built, and it's a MOPAR!!! Very well done on this J-Han kit!
  15. HAHAHA...now THAT'S a valid point!!!
  16. I never keep paint receipts! That might be a sticking point. I don't really know why they would need those, if the product code and batch code numbers are sent in.
  17. Very interesting! I need to write down those code numbers for future reference.
  18. I might not glue the rear wheels, if there is a metal axle. On the fronts, if the metal axle goes through the engine block, I might change that out, and fill the hole in the block. Sometimes, that means finding an alternative method to attach the front wheels. For my building skills, that might mean glued fronts!!! I'd rather do that than to look under the hood and see a metal axle running through the block! LOL
  19. And, there was this camper: The Open Road camper, offered in late 60's Chevy pickup kits. This one is from the re-issue that had the Racer's Wedge in the same kit. I put mine on the Ghostbuster's Caddy, for fun!!
  20. This simple little shell comes in the snap kit Chevy pickup:
  21. I get mine in the grocery store. I find them around the freezer bags, and sandwich bags. The ones I get are called Snack Bags, and are small enough to fit in a kit box. I separate tires, and windows with these bags, when I open a new kit, or get an old kit that has already been opened.
  22. Mainly 1/24 and 1/25. I have a couple in 1/32. I have one in 1/8 scale that I haven't ripped the cellophane off of, yet. Lessee.....one in 1/12, a SNARK missile kit in 1/48, and a couple of military kits in 1/35 scale. That's about it!
  23. This is cool news! I've been wanting a '66 Ford pickup kit for a long time!
  24. HMMMMMM........I like the Ford pickup! If they do it, maybe later they can adjust it to issue the '63 integral bed pickup! The AMT kits are hard to find, and not too cheap!
