  1. Probably this one, it's certainly the most expensive after adding in shipping to New Zealand and aftermarket decals.
  2. I agree, nice clean builds.
  3. Modest update on the Karmann Ghia, suspension lowered front and rear:
  4. That's wild, Martin, what materials did you use?
  5. That is one fine model, well done Roger.
  6. Harry has just posted this on his gofundme page - let's hope it's the start of better things for him. 12/15 After the disastrous first chemo session, the doctors completely switched up my chemo recipe in order to protect my heart. First session was Thursday...so far no side effects. Fingers crossed.
  7. It was too hilly where I used to live, I don't do hills at my age. Fortunately it's flat here in Napier, there are 200km of mainly off-road bike trails around here.
  8. When I retired last year, I moved from New Zealand's largest city, Auckland, to a much smaller place on the East Coast, Napier (Pop. 60,000). I love it. I spend my time at the workbench, watching motor racing on YouTube and most days go for a cycle ride along the coast. We have a Mediterranean climate down here, so this is my routine for most of the year. No hassles, no worries (apart from the odd earthquake!). I even do the grocery shopping, but living on my own I have to!
  9. What more can I say? Excellent builds Yuri, you are a master!
  10. Three great builds, Steve.
  11. Best wishes Harry. It was great to hear from you and we all hope that this works out for you - good luck on Thursday.
  12. Beautiful work and some fine decal application!
  13. Me too, or do you mean 'bon and bed' ?
  14. Superb craftsmanship, Luke.
  15. Some great work there, Bill.
  16. Gorgeous build, Peter!
  17. I don't see why not - my VW Karmann Ghia has been well received!
  18. This really is a nice kit - it goes together exceptionally well, with a precise fit on most parts. Very happy!
  19. Yes, Kevin, it's hinged but I made mine a lift-off.
  20. Thanks guys. Already done, Fred. The earlier photo shows the original Pegasus wheel/tyre, but I'm actually using parts box pieces as per the combo on the right in this photo, shown next to the Pegasus rims.
  21. Not sure, Ray, but I bet it zips along quite nicely!
  22. I've been collecting parts for a while now to build a little Model A roadster, inspired by this Roy Brizio version. Body - Revell '29 Ford 3 in 1 Rat Rod Chassis - Revell '30 Model A Coupe Engine - Tamiya Jaguar 3.8 Rear - Revell John Buttera 1926 Model T Independent Jag Front - Revell '32 Ford Wheels/tyres - Rear - Pegasus, Front - Lindberg 1937 Ford tyres on unknown wheels. Here is my progress so far. The rear end is an old used parts box item, for mock up purposes, and requires widening. I'm using aluminium tubing for this.
  23. Revell 1962 Corvette Gasser, mostly out of box with a few aftermarket decals and some plumbing/wiring. Paint is Tamiya Forest Green Metallic with transparent green clear.
