  1. Very nice Rich! I love those mid '50's BOP's. As you know, when we were younger there were a lot of 4 doors hot rodded and customized. 4 door hardtops lend themselves to the mild custom theme very well. Another great build!
  2. It doesn't matter how nice a product is if you never get it.
  3. Which enterprising caster will step up and cast the '57 Ford supercharger parts missing in the stock and Cop Car issues? I'd buy a few for some Y Block hot rods.
  4. Clean and simple! I like it and I love the paint.
  5. That's a great red! As always, your interior looks amazing. You should run classes for making stunning interiors. Who cares if it's "Pontiac"? My cousin Scott had a '55 Chevy with a '64 Impala interior. Like you said, it's a custom!
  6. Rich, What are you using for an interior? My '55's didn't come with one. The interior bucket from the old tool Monogram '56 Chevy fits pretty good.
  7. It 's about time we had a nice modern full detail '60 El Camino. Any year Ranchero would be nice too!
  8. Nice start Rich! I like mild customs too. As an old guy I remember seeing cars like this on the street when I was a young'n. I have 2 of the '55 2 doors, 1 to customize and 1 to gasser. I'll be following along as you build this.
  9. Another winner Rich! A sweet looking late '50's ride in all it's glory! Nice work.
  10. Another winner Rich! That color combo screams '50's. I'll be watching.
  11. I like looking at the chip charts for color ideas. If you find a color you want check with Scalefinishes to see if he can supply it. Great guy to deal with and excellent paint.
  12. A few of these will follow me home from the hobby shop. Thanks to Round2 for correcting the front end!
  13. Very nice! Great stance and the engine looks killer!
  14. Very nice traditional looking hot rod!
  15. 1.) I also am immune to poison ivy. My kids however, not so much. I have a cousin who is also unaffected by it but his brother and sisters are. Weird but saved me from a lot of scratching. 2.) Although I grew up a Ford fan, in 1970 I purchased my then dream car. A 1966 SS396 4 speed Chevelle!
  16. Nice builds! I got to see both of those cars race in the '70's. The outer door skin on Bob's Pinto came off at speed at the Pop Rod one year and launched like a rocket. He won the round anyway.
  17. I got 10 colors from the Scale Finishes sale. I'll be ordering a few more tonight after She Who Must Be Obeyed is asleep.
  18. Shouldn't this post be in the new Off Topic section? Sorry Harry!
  19. The problem is that they produce thousands of parts. I'd rather have them filling my order than taking pictures.
  20. Tom, I have a hood and interior bucket from a '68 Ambassador that I was going to PIF over on the Spotlight board. If you need them PM me your shipping info and I'll send them to you. It's all I have left of the one I bought in '68 and built as a funny car.
  21. Model Car World does both stock and AWB '65 Comets. I think Perrry's Resin does one also but MCW might get you one a bit quicker. http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/resinlist.html
  22. Scale Finishes is having a sale because of some problems at GSL. Tons of colors at $5 each! Time to stock up, or if you've been waiting to try his paint NOW IS THE TIME!
