disconovaman
I've been working on polishing the Double cab dodge and it is turning out better than I thought... I was inspired by special edition movie themed cars/trucks like the Bumblebee camaro from Transformers and The Nova Shark from Jaws. So I've built the Dodge Predator. Special Addition, 1987 Dodge with Phantom Predator logos.
Dragonhawk1066
My new favorite paint job. Just a simple one color spray can job, but I love the color and it buffed out to a real nice shine for me. Testors One Coat Lacquer Icy Blue covered with Testors glosscote clear coat.

tommrp
Lots of really impressive paint jobs. Kudos all. Still waiting to get a great glossy paint job (maybe the '70 Challenger that's on the bench will turn out). So, for now, I think this is my favorite of my builds.

Dragonhawk1066
Thanks! I've always been a fan of the Trans Am. Here's a pic of the kit box... It looks like just a re-issue of the 10th Anniversary kit, but with blue, red, and gold bird decals instead of the silver anniversary decals. Everything else seems to be the same. The two wheel options are the same, the "racing " interior is the same, as well as the side pipes. The kit really looks and feels it's age. Lots of flash, heavy chrome plating, thick windshield, not much detail--especially the interior. I bought two, and on both of mine the chassis and body were warped, there is plenty of flash on most of the pieces and the final fit was pretty iffy on the one I've completed so far. I'm probably going to take it apart this summer to try to do a better job of making a windshield, get the stance a little better, line up the wheelwells better, and do a little more detailing. Funny enough though, I can't wait to get going on the second one, LOL.
