I was also hesitant to open this thread because Donks and Gassers are just not my thing, but I am really glad I did! That is beautiful, Peter, very well done!!

That's gotta be the nicest build I've seen on that old kit.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the post, I was expecting another gasser build for some reason. :D

That's exactly what I was thinking. This is an exceptionally clean build all the way around. The side view is nice and straight, the interior is outstanding and the color choice and paint job are beautiful.

Thanks again everyone for your encouraging comments.

Sonny, Zero paints are great but they will need a gloss clearcoat. I used Tamiya TS13 on this one, which needed polishing out.

Wow that is one fantastic looking Nomad! But of course that's no surprise when I saw who is the builder, you do awesome work. Very nice paint job and superb BMF work too. Engine detailing finishes it off... Simply beautiful!B)

Exactly my thoughts... By far the best '55 Nomad I've ever seen! Amazing!

Stunning, no other word. It's satisfying to see these modern, high-skill builds applied to vintage AMT, MPC, and Johan kits in a way that you never saw them built before. Who knew they could be so nice?
