AMT 1939 Station Wagonrod

Built from the recent re-issue, I cut out the rear panels and replaced with 'glass', otherwise box stock.  Paint is Tamiya spraycan TS95 Rich Metallic Red with Citadel Skeleton Bone interior.

I agree with the others it looks more interesting as a wagon than a panel, and I like panels. The "wood" looks very real and the paint is nice and smooth also.

Yup, glass. I'd like to section about a quarter inch off this kit all the way around the belt line. I'll bet that would be sassy.
