slusher
Will we get the 30 model A by Revell back?
High octane
Right now I think that it's a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH shoot, so don't hold your breath.
peter31a
Assuming Revell keeps going the 29 roadster is supposed to be out soon and then the 30 Coupe some time after that. I would guess not until well into the second half of the year.
Rob Hall
Looks like the 29 roadster has been pushed back to late July according to Tower Hobbies..

Richard Bartrop
I still haven't started on the '29 I bought fro the first time they came out, so I think I can be patient.
socal76
Who knows with Revell's parent company filing for bankruptcy. Hobbico said they were looking for buyers, but did not say if it was for Revell or the whole company.

socal76
Revell did not file for bankruptcy, it was the company that owns Revell that filed for bankruptcy (Hobbico) Edited February 10, 2018 by socal76

Until the details of the reorganization are made public, most likely nobody not directly involved will know much. If a company that has several operating divisions, apparently as Hobbico does, can't meet its financial obligations, it sometimes may have to sell off assets to pay creditors. IF the Revell and Monogram brands have been operating at a profit, it really shouldn't be too hard to find a buyer...but that's also not necessarily what will happen. From what I've read though, Hobbico has dug themselves a pretty deep hole, so breaking up the company and selling off the bits may be the only option. I wouldn't expect to see any capital investment, like re-tooling or tooling something new, come from Revell until the mess is settled. Unless the repaired / retooled / found / whatever-the-real-story-is tooling for the '30 Ford is done and ready to start squirting out models, don't hold your breath. If we get a 30 Ford again great but I would really hate to see Revell and Monogram brand go away. I really appreciate your info...
