After a little plastic surgery we have another 86 inch Aerodyne . The dog isn't allowed in the garage any more . I want thank Jeff for letting me replace the cab with a new one . Be Safe Mark Glad to hear and see!!!! Do you need a cab to replace the Papa truck cab?? If you do shoot me a pm, I have a couple extras..
am73grand Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Nice job building a new cab. Your truck is looking good.
Jim Whalen Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Interesting build to watch - I recently read an article in an old issue of a certain magazine on a DVD about doing this conversion. Finding that your dog had chewed up the cab must have been very annoying! I'm pleased you have kept going and have started with a fresh cab.
k100 Posted May 31, 2020 Author Posted May 31, 2020 Thank you all for the comments , been crazy busy at work haven’t had the time to do anything . Thank you Mark

stenfalk Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 A great construction report! The photos are more valuable to me than gold! There is no better way to understand what is important and what needs to be considered.

CRUSADER2 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Fantastic job!!! well worth all the heart ache and effort, is the grill after market from Double Take? I need one for both my Kenworth but the site says closed, is anybody else producing Kenworth grill's and the cab fans? it really finishes off your Aerodyne a treat, really well done Mark.
k100 Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 Thanks guys for all the comments . it is finished and under glass now . yes the grill and the fans are From Double Take sadly KJ closed up shop , has far as I know no else makes the grills & fans . thanks for looking mark
CRUSADER2 Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Hi Mark Do you think he has closed permanently or is it just until the covid problem levels out a bit, I have found Kenworth grill's on the Moluminum site but they come with lots of other items that I don't need at the moment, I probably will order them in the future though as they look to be really good etchings and the other items on the fret will come in for future builds, the etched dash board and decals look good too, looking forward to following your next project, Kenworth may be ?
