Sport Suburban Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Here is a just about box stock build of the Revell 1969 Baldwin Motion Corvette. This is the Phase III SS427 as it mostly resembles out of the box. I opened up the hood scoop and painted on the stripes. I also have a resin Mini Exotics 1969 Baldwin Motion Corvette Phase III GT that I am building.
Sport Suburban Posted May 24, 2020 Author Posted May 24, 2020 Here is the video on did on this one. And if you want to know how I did the stripes I did this video on that process. This took some time to do the process but I love how it came out!
Codi Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Great thread Raoul, I watched your video and really enjoyed it. Learned some things from you too. The white DID cover it beautifully and the paint v. decal direction you went was well worth your efforts and patience. Thanks for posting! cheers, tim
Snake45 Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 VERY NICE! Even better than mine, which I'm pretty proud of. Well done, model on, and don't be such a stranger!
grodudulle77 Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 (edited) Awesome paint work, very nice model car ! ??? Edited May 24, 2020 by grodudulle77
Sport Suburban Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 Thanks everyone. I really enjoyed building this one and have a few more to do. I built this maroon one when this kit first came out. A few times I thought about rebuilding it but left it alone. Now if a kit is readily available I will just build another one instead of redoing my first one.
BeakDoc Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 She’s a stunner! Thanks for the great, informative video too!
fasted Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I have a mini exotics corvette phase iii kit and I need help! 1
