1964 Impala Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 This was the result of my best efforts at Roadkill's 1970 "Off Road Challenger" and I'm only 15 so I'm still improving on my models. I know this is not a slot car forum but I consider this a mix of modeling and slot cars. The car still includes a full interior and engine. The car runs quite good around the track and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks, TR
iamsuperdan Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I'd say you nailed the look pretty well! And you made it a working slotcar, which is pretty cool in my book. In case you haven't seen it, we do have a slot car sub-forum here, near the bottom of the main page.
1964 Impala Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 Thanks for the feedback, I'll have to check out the slot car forum as well.
larman Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 That's pretty cool! Neat that it is a functional slot car too. That takes some engineering! Great job!
Lunajammer Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Looks the part. I'd say you accomplished what you were trying to do. Looks good.
Quiet Eric Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I think it might be more cool because it is a functional slot car, excellent work!
1964 Impala Posted December 5, 2020 Author Posted December 5, 2020 Thank you all, I'm glad you like it. I'll have to post my other model slot car mix, a 1951 Chevy next.
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Looks like it came straight from a death race themed video game! I like it!
doorsovdoon Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Great job getting the mechanicals fitted in there with interior and sitting right, looks quite the beast too!
