Ok everyone here is the amt 68z28,besides all the in acuracies? that been pointed out ,what do you think so far about color choice ,at first i thought oh my god that is hideus looking but once i sprayed the clear was like wow that really looked decent,,,,,ok question is should i go and put the black stripes on or leave off,,,, the trunk deck spoiler is NOT going on cause it no where near matching the contour of trunk and i AM NO good at so called body work? So wasnt sure if the stripes would look good or not ,searched google to see if there was a picture of one with strips and without spoiler, came up empty on that .i will paint the lower part below the molding black also.well hopefully the rest goes smoothly.also included the color ,if woundering what it is,,i know NOT many people on believe that craft paint makes good choice for bodys but hey it been working out great so far?

The so called Z-28 stripes are sort of a personal taste thing. If you like them then do it, if you don't then don't.  Since the color isn't an OEM color I wouldn't worry about it. The more I look at this color the better it looks to me and I would pass on the stripes and your not going to use the spoiler anyway.

Looks pretty darn good to me Bill. I think the stripes would look good on it tho. And I'm glad to see you are another craft acrylic paint user.  Great job?

I like the color choice. I wouldn't worry about the stripes, they'd just detract.

BTW, what thinner do you use and what ratio for craft paint?

Color selection is huge, price is minimal and clean up is easy! I've been thinking of using it, but wasn't sure how it would work. You've shown me it does work well!

That is a great color, especially cleared. Black stripes would really accentuate this one, rear spoiler or not. I've used craft paints on bodies for my last nine builds, mainly metallics, and am very happy with the results. Doesn't matter what paint you use, or who thinks you should use it, if you get good results that's all that matters. By the way, here's a '67 and '69 Camaro with stripes and no rear spoiler to hopefully give you a little help.
