John B. Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 Hello; John Cafaro, the GM's chief designer of the C4 and C5 Corvettes, envisioned a speedster model for production. Although it never made it to Chevrolet showrooms, Mr. Cafaro designed and built five examples of a C5 Speedster on his own with the assistance of another GM engineer, Mr. Iovino.
