Now this is really silly.  The "someone reacted thread is locked - no more posts.  That's fine, but why are "likes" of posts still allowed to continue on a locked thread? I keep getting those silly reactions on my posts in that locked thread. Makes no sense at all. Locked is supposed to be locked - period!

So is this “Someone reacted part 3” or are we just trying to report something to the mods? I’m guessing they had no idea that the reactions didn’t lock with the threads.

Well they should now.

Not sure why people think this is going to be an entertaining thread. I'm simply puzzled and reporting what looks like a bug to moderators.

You see the 3 dots on the top right of a post? Click them and you’ll find a link to report a post

Seeing all the "confused" tags in this thread gave me a good chuckle.  Why are you all so confused?  Inquiry mind wants to know (but all I see are nameless tags).  I am simply reporting what appears to be a bug in the forum software. I sure hope that it is not a "feature". :(

Their confused as to why you started another thread.

Your a highly active senior member of this forum (and well respected) why didn’t you just message, inbox, private message a moderator. Im sure you know who they are or you could just have picked the one who close the previous thread.

Starting another thread leaves it open to be an entertaining saga.

I think this conversation should be had with a moderator in private and not open to public discussion as the reactions could influence the moderator’s decision and seeing as so many did not care in the previous thread, I suspect nothing will change.

There are some instances, like this one, where just reporting an issue or simply sending a PM to moderator is preferred to starting a thread on a subject that has been locked/removed two times prior. Any thread about the Like Button is going to get the same comments from the same cast of characters.

This is a fairly new function for this board and there are probably a few additional boxes that need to be checked to sync it with some of the boards other policies. Do not let this minor inconvenience keep you from more important things.
