The Modeling Hermit Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 This started out to be a simple 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door sedan, but somehow things got completely out of control, and this happened. 1
Zippi Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 The 59 Chevrolet Bel Air is looking pretty good. Nice.
espo Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 I like the styling changes to the body trim and the rear seat cover.
bisc63 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Nice work. Your changes make this already large car look sleek and 2 feet longer!
Leica007 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Like the colors, wheels, graphics, and the interior mods. I agree with Rusty, looong & sleek.
ea0863 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 That is hilarious! I too have projects I started that were to be stock builds, and years later they are unrecognizable as to where they began! But seeing your great build gives me encouragement - it came out awesome, and now you have something that looks like nothing else
happy grumpy Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Another beautiful build, I like the color combo.

OK, this is driving me nuts: what did you use for the custom headrests? Those forms are familiar, but I can't pinpoint where I've seen them. As for the color combo on this one, I see great minds think alike; I painted this one for an uncle, and the true color is more intense than the photo, though not quite as strong as your model:
