This is my tribute build to Al Auth (RIP), it is a resin body he mastered and gave to me years ago. Nothing to fancy just some basic custom touches I'm sure Al would enjoy.

I used an AMT kit as donor, spare parts wheels, some styrene tube and wire for the French antenna, 1/2 round for the new side trim and a grill from the AMT parts pack. I did the window trim in black just like the 1:1 came without chrome. Paint is Tamiya with a clear urethane topcoat. Thanks for looking...

Nice custom. It evokes the cars in the small 'pocket' magazines of customs in the early 60s. Great period vibe. The chrome strip on the quarter panels is a nice touch. Cool stuff.
