You've always got a plan. Kinda like me.

Lotsa plans, zero finished models. :D

Highly creative, but with a significant lack of self-discipline where my own projects are concerned.

And it's OK with me, for now.  B)

Got this at the local toy show last month. Original annual AMT '67 Comet Cyclone, which has a body much better shaped IMHO than the newer kit. Needs the hole in the hood fixed, and the stock grille insert, and one taillight, but I think I'll be able to bring it back from the dead. Worse comes to worst, I'll just trash a "new" one for those parts--or, depending how you look at it, just swap this body onto a "new" kit.

Sounds like a plan...

Good to know they're still making it, at least. My Hobby Lobby stopped carrying that color.

Snake... I am with you on that one....id rather try to save an old one even if it means using a re-issued one for parts to.  We need to save these pieces of history if we can.

I am in complete agreement with you on this one Snake. I have one in my stash waiting to be painted and detailed. I have a 66 that I combined with a new tool 66 Fairlane that I have to finish, as well as a Mobieus 65. Good luck on that one.

Mail call today.  Moebius California Flash 65 Belvedere, AMT Bobby Allison Monte Carlo, and a restorable Johan 68 Plymouth Sport Fury.

Love the Fury!

This is one that I don't have.

But I do have a almost pristine, unbuilt '67 that I hope to get started on in the not too distant future.

Nice find!

I didn't have any Johan '68 Furys (Furies?) except for 4 of the later issue 4dr sedans.   I have hardtops for '65, '66, and '67 along with a '65 and '67 convertible in my stash, along w/ a resin '68 Sport Fury fastback. I want to get the resin '68 wagon...

My Fury collection is nearly complete except for the '68.

So far, I've built the '59, '60 & '61.

I have very nice examples of the '62-'67, mostly hard tops except the '62 & '66.

Of the earlier ones, I have a resin '59 ht, a rough '60 ht (roof broken off), a couple '60 wagons, a resin '60 4dr Savoy, and the '80s issues of the '62-64s.
