Mr mopar
A Volvo vn880 with an engine italeri are you listening ?
Thatswhatshesaid
Didnt Volvo quit producing these because they were a slow seller? I remember it being their venture into the 'conventional' market.
Custom Hearse
I know they were having electrical problems in the sleeper. I drove several different Volvo's and each one would have something wrong with it.
Mr mopar
Volvo killed it because it was to heavy , this is what I read but I still think it would be a cool model kit.
BigBad
We could even simplify their work... Lets have a reissue of the VN670 or 780 with an engine and poseable front wheels. But any recent truck would be welcome such as the 880.

Thatswhatshesaid
All the Volvos had problems. Bunk heaters were an issue and something to do with the steering due to the set back axle. I even heard of a dash falling into a guys lap while he was driving.

Luc Janssens
Italeri is listening or back in touch with the market, because their all new Iveco Stralis kit, again has an engine included, long live the "old concept" kits! ;^)
chuckyr
You are more likely to see an 880 as a resin kit than from Italeri. Italeri will offer a totally new American subject. But not announce it before 2014 at the earliest.

That would be fine with me ,I like working with resin kit , as far as a new American subject goes I can't see them doing anything else then a Peterbilt. I've gotten the impression that the next one will be a Freightliner, Western Star or a trailer.

chuckyr
That would be ok, a Freightliner conventional ? Italeri will not offer a cabover. They are only interested in representing typical American type trucks.
Chuck Most
Italeri will not offer a cabover. They are only interested in representing typical American type trucks. Hopefully not with an atypical generic type chassis this time...
george 53
I'd STILL like to see a Kenworth T-2000. Personally I think it's a BEAUTIFUL truck, too bad it was discontinued!
blazefox
I'd like to see a plastic 1950 ford cabover kit or that or a 50s dodge cabover kit from revell
carsntrucks4you
Eisenhauer X2 or Eisenhauer Freigther would be a great model kit.
