MikeBoyle Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 First completed kit in 6 years. 1975 Revell kit built box stock (w/ plug wires added). Paint is Duplicolor GM touch up and Krylon Gloss White w/ Tamiya clear. Quick build to get me out of an extended building slump.Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki
philo426 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Nice! i remember the kit was molded in orange plastic back in the day!
Draggon Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Very clean build up of a mess of a kit. The 2 tone paint is an excellent choice, looks great, I dig it.

jeffs396 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Looks GREAT! See Rich (Ramfins59), the old '54 kit builds up nicely and can be made stock looking!
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Good looking build of that less-than-stellar kit. Great blue too. Looks like a fine-grained pearl. Please, oh please, tell me what the number is...
MikeBoyle Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 (edited) Thanks for all the kind words. It was a fun build despite the less than stellar kit. I wish I could give you the part number on the paint, but I painted the body eight years and three moves ago. I just know it was a Dupicolor touch up rattle can. For more pics click on the link in my signature. Its under the competition vehicles heading. (and if you are bored you can check out some of my older builds while you are there ) Edited July 2, 2014 by MikeBoyle
