zenrat
g'day folks. I built this for the special theme class at the Ballarat NNL which was last weekend. The theme was Black & White. I thought of Black & White Television for some reason. Maybe I just watch too much? Anyway, I combined both the Street machine & stock '60 Pick Up kits with some scratchbuilding and some stuff from my parts box. Camera is from an AMT Parts Pack - i've never seen anyone else use it before but it was an almost perfect match for those in period photos In keeping with Black & White it has no colour on it - only black, white, grey and metalisers. 62rebel
very nice and very interesting build! looks real enough.... is it a representation of any specific truck, or just your imagination bearing fruit?
zenrat
Thanks folks. Curt - it was inspired by photos of real Australian TV trucks I found on the interweb but maybe a bit more specialised as they tended to use planks on a roof rack as the top platform! I think in reality you'd want a bit more suspension travel when travesing 1962 era outback roads in search of a story.
