  1. The ones he sent me are pretty clean. He has my 4-door Barracuda body too. He said he would be sending it next week.
  2. I just took a look at it. I'm going to build the original body as an old drag car , incase any of the body work comes back to haunt me. The only thing I hate about having a body casted is that they sometimes get damaged. But it is cool to see how other people finish them.
  3. Thanks. It makes the a pillars look better by being inside of the door and fenders instead of on top of then . The window trim and window shield are better on the Charger and it just makes it stronger.
  4. I got a package from Jimmy today , so I'm guessing it's available now.
  5. Sorry fogot about taking a picture. The Charger interior will fit with a little sanding . I was planning on making new ones. The Road Runner interior bucket will still fit too. The shape of the rear quarter window looks a little off to me it is to straight up and down. I started on this when the Charger kit first came out. Was going to build a replica of my high school car.
  6. Working on this.
  7. Not at home to get a picture, but I cut the Chargers inner fender, cowl , a pillars and part of the roof all out in one piece. Then trimmed the Road Runner body for it all to fit . The interior and chassis pan fit real good . The front suspension of the Charger is not correct but it will work . The 73-4 had a separate torsion bar mount , mounted on rubber biscuits behind the tranny mount. And the K frame is mounted on big rubber mounts. But it is still a hundred times better than the old chassis.
  8. Thanks ,I've had it awhile. This is good excuse to build it.
  9. This will be what I'm working on. Not using the goofy roof , stacks ,or bumpers.
  10. He just texted me earlier today that its ready.
  11. Thanks , Jimmy Flintstone has it now . Probably won't get it back till May .
  12. Yes the car wasn't perfect and shinny and mine will probably be to shinny too? I'm building this one for a friend,so I want it to be nice. I picked up a second kit a few days ago and that one will be built as it is now.
  13. Yes that cowl needs a little work . I remove all the screw mounting points and sanded the tops of the inner fenders to get it fitting better.
  14. Congratulations Ashley great build. Look forward to getting started on next year's entry, I've never built a van .
  15. Got a little painting done..
  16. Harbor Freight has drill bits for cleaning out welding tips, they come in a tube and have a good selection of sizes. They are pretty strong
