  1. Couple of quick shots of the almos finished interior
  2. Nice job on the paint I like the color. Is that from a can or airbrush?
  3. Got most of the suspension parts on as well as the wheels today, detailed up the fittings with red and blue paint and added the radiator. And also did a quick mock up with the body on the frame. All that's left is the interior and this one should be done. Comments welcome thanks
  4. Went a little further with the engine today. Ran a line from the pump to the fuel tank and wired the ignition coil. Also added the blower hat. I'm not entirely sure if this setup looks right so any input would be very much appreciated thanks
  5. Trying my best to replicate what I've seen from some photos as far as the fuel lines go. Any suggestions are welcome.
  6. Pretty sure this is the site your looking for http://www.seltd.net/
  7. Yea I was thinking the same thing, unfortunately there's no decal for that on the sheet.
  8. Not at all don't worry about. Thanks again for the info
  9. Thanks for the info, I think the problem is I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at lol. I'm not mechanically sound when it comes to this stuff but I'm getting the general idea.
  10. I'm looking for some information how to run fuel lines for a blown hemi in a willys I'm working on. I just can't seem to find any good reference material online. For example is it plumbed from the moon tank to a pump ? Where does it go from there? Also how does the throttle work on a hilborn type of intake? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you guys.
  11. Got a little bit more done with the engine, in the process of doing some wiring and added a decal to the belt, also got started on detailing the wheels. I stripped the kit chrome and shot them with stainless steel metalizer, also sanded the lettering off and added some decals from slixx. Thanks for looking
  12. Just a quick update, I got a little bit of work done on the engine. I used different shades of metalizer just to change it up a little from the usual hemi orange. Not too sure about the headers yet I may change them. Also a few photo etched pully faces for the belt. More to come, thanks for looking
  13. Thanks for the comments guys. Should have some more updates soon of the frame and engine
  14. This is the ks Pittman kit but I decided to do something a little different. I had some left over slixx decals so I figured I would use them up. Some are from the swc willys, some from a quarter panel sheet and some from the kit itself. In the process of foiling the trim right now. The paint is testors bright light blue and turquoise pearl ex in the clear coat. Thanks for looking.
  15. Lol much appreciated comments guys thank you
  16. Yea it was probably just the way my kit was stored before I bought it. Anyway great job on a great build thanks for the replies.
  17. That's a pretty cool idea with the tape. I have this kit and I'm gonna try that out. Did you have any problems with the body being warped at all? The roof section on mine seemed to be pushed over to one side slightly.
  18. Very nice build! How did you do the trim in the back around the recess for the tail lights?
  19. Thanks for all the kind comments!
  20. Thanks, the paint is pearl blue enamel from testors and the clear coat also is testors. The tach is actually a leftover detail masters distributor with a spare gauge decal I had laying around.

    69 nova

Here's another 69 nova. Just finished this one. Built this mostly as the stock version but used the cowl hood instead. A few aftermarket and photo etched goodies were used. Badges, seat belts, steering wheel to name a few. Also used the edelbrock dress up kit and some aluminum pulleys, and did some basic wiring, and yes I noticed the coil wire is missing it fell off somehow lol. Enjoy and thanks for looking.
  22. I'm not familiar with that particular detail set but as far as scripts, lettering, and badges I would sand those off and use the pe part in its place. As far as the knobs go one circle may be the outer ring and the smaller solid circle may be the actual knob itself. What I would do is leave the plastic knobs there unless they're round, then I would just cut the top flat and put your piece on that.
  23. Ok wasn't sure if I worded my post properly. Yes 1/3 of each, if your not mixing in clear and just doing straight color then do two parts paint and one part thinner. It took me a little while to get the hang of it but once you do you'll be happy with the results. And also I would check out Donns DVDs. He lays out every detail. Definitely worth picking up if your gonna start painting with enamels.
  24. Cato no problem. But let me specify the Chevy and the spoon samples don't have clear coat over them, or polished. That's straight from the airbrush. The clear was mixed with the actual color to make it a little more transparent. I polish it regardless how smooth it comes out anyway it makes it look that much better.
